Jesús G. Boticario is the head of the aDeNu Research group and the scientific coordinator in several European and National funded projects in the area of eInclusion: FAA (Accessible and Open Education, PGIDIT05SIN011E), European Unified Approach for Accessible Lifelong Learning (EU4ALL, IST-034778), Accessible Learning Platform for Europe (ALPE, ETEN-029328). He is the coordinator of the ICT-Rectors Working Group on Accessibility Issues of the Higher Education Board of Rectors in Spain. He belongs to the Board of Directors of the dotLRN LMS where he is the head of the research projects focused on providing accessibility features to the platform. He was a co-organizer of the UM'03 Workshop on User and Group models for web-based adaptive collaborative environments. The research topics address User Modelling, Machine Learning techniques, Multi-Agent architectures and Educational and Technological Standards.

Olga C. Santos is the R&D Technical Manager of aDeNu Research group. Her research interests focus on implementing User Modelling and Machine Learning techniques in Multi-Agent architectures making a pervasive use of Educational and Technological Standards to provide personalized responses to users in open web-based services, such as e-tourism (SAMAP project) and e-learning (aLFanet and ADAPTAPlan projects) with a current special focus on providing educational accessible user-centred e-learning services for learners with special needs upon open architectures (FAA, EU4ALL and ALPE projects). Moreover, she leaders the accessibility roadmap at OpenACS/.LRN community and belongs to the Workgroup of eInclusion of the Spanish Technological Platform of Software and Services (INES).

Rafael A. Calvo is the Director of the Web Engineering Group at the University of Sydney. Rafael's passion is building software applications that learn, and that help people learn. Rafael's contributions are centred around developing data mining algorithms and software architectures that integrate into real world applications. His current projects include the development of automatic support tools for learning academic writing, visualization of social networks in CSCL, and e-learning frameworks.
