Objetives
This project allows:
- Training plans: there exist different training plans for the different types of users and for the different levels (e.g. students and tutors).
- E-learning contents. The platform courses include accessible and usable web material in Spanish and Galician. The prototyped materials follow
the SCORM standard and are accessible for disable users. SOLUZIONA adapts the course "Designing in a sensible way" which aims to give a vision of
web accessibility.
- aDeNu Research group at UNED aims to customize dotLRN platform so that it provides an inclusive system based on standards that personlises
and adapts e-learning contents, pedagogical models and students interactions to satisfy the particular needs and preferences of Galician students with special needs.
- Coruna University will evaluate the usage impact in the learning needs of disabled students.
- Development of guides and best practices for the design of educative and inclusive software. The final objective is to present educative material
in a wide variety of formats, so that it can be adjusted and used by different learning styles. In this way students can learn in the learning style
that better adapts to his/her needs
To guarantee the accessible design, the following aspects will be considered:
- Guidelines elaborated by the Web Accessibility Initiative(WAI) of W3C (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines)
- "Trace Centre Guidelines"
- Guidelines available in "Learning disabilities resource community"
- EuroAccessibility Consortium
