The higher-level research question to be addressed in the workshop is: "How to deal with the increasing amount of information available from various resources and contexts, in order to provide effective personalized assistance in learning and teaching situations?". It is considered in various contexts: interactive, personal, and inclusive learning and teaching environments.
PALE 2018 will be run in two sessions at both at AIED and UMAP conferences, thus each session's topics has been particularized to the conference scope.
